O Quy Ho Pass is regarded as the "King of the Pass" because it is the highest and longest of the "Four Greatest Northwest Passes" with the height of 2000 meters above sea level. The pass is located on the 4D national route, which connects Sa Pa City (Lao Cai province) with Tam Duong district (Lai Chau province).
Heaven Gate is the highest point of O Quy Ho Pass connecting the provinces of Lao Cai and Lai Chau. This is also a great spot to overview the Fansipan peak and the Hoang Lien mountain range from the top, as well as the panoramic view of O Quy Ho pass from the bottom with zigzag roads meandering around the slope.
