Seo My Ty Lake is an artificial lake located in Ta Van commune, Sa Pa town, Lao Cai province, about 20 km from the center of Sa Pa town. The lake was formed from the construction of a dam for the Seo Chong Ho hydroelectric project and is located in the core of Hoang Lien Son National Park. Located at an altitude of 1,600 m above sea level, this is considered the highest artificial lake in Vietnam, and also one of the highest artificial lakes in Indochina. The area around the lake is home to the H'Mong people.
