Tết Nhảy (Dancing Tết) is a ritual to worship Bàn Vương - the ultimate ancestor of the Dao people. Tết Nhảy festival includes the following rituals: Worship of the Lunar New Year; transitional worships (from the Lunar New Year to the Dancing Festival); opening ceremony. The offerings include: incense, flowers, lanterns, fruit, pig's head, chicken, sticky rice, bánh dày, liquor, water, coins, flags and worship knives. The offering team consists of 3 people: 1 shaman and 2 assistants.
